A partnership between Islington Council and the West London Synagogue,
made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund
About the project
In use from 1843 - 1951, Balls Pond Road Cemetery is the final resting place for the founders of Reform Judaism in the UK and is Grade II Listed. Our project aims to rediscover the hidden histories of these pioneers, promote biodiversity and make the site accessible for future generations.
